Alicia becomes Dr Alicia

Congratulations to Alicia Bertolotti, who recently passed her PhD viva for a project titled "Characterisation of Structural Variation in the Atlantic Salmon Genome".

Huge thanks to Alicia's external examiner Dr Philine Feulner from Eawag Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, and to the internal examiner at the University of Aberdeen Dr Cath Jones.

Alicia will be moving on to work on bee pathogen diversity - taking her very advanced bioinformatics skills with her back to France - we wish her all the very best!
